Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Naivasha
Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival, enjoy a boat ride on the lake where you’ll spot a wide variety of water birds, hippos, and the chance to see African fish eagles diving for their prey. In the afternoon, explore Crescent Island, a peaceful sanctuary where you can take a guided nature walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Dinner and overnight at a lodge/camp by the lake.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a birdwatcher’s paradise famous for its flocks of flamingos and over 400 recorded bird species.
Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting pelicans, cormorants, herons, and raptors alongside rhinos, giraffes, lions, and buffaloes.
A picnic lunch inside the park ensures you maximize your time exploring.
Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
Start the day with an early morning birding session and game drive to catch more species in the golden morning light.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with wonderful birding and wildlife memories.
